Electrical Disconnect Installation

During the installation of the electrical disconnect, the wires are attached to the “line” side of the breaker, which is the top two lugs. The neutral wire is hooked up to the silver lug on the side of the breaker. Should mark this wire with white phasing tape to show it is a neutral wire.

The base of the breaker is on the wiring for the “load” side. The electrical panel in your home gets power from the wires that connect here. Connect the two “hot” wires to the breaker’s bottom.
